DIRGE

This game is a hack of DURF. 

It adapts that game’s procedures and themes into a ruleset more precisely calibrated for tabletop scenarios of dramatic mystery, misadventure, and most of all - games of gothic horror. 

They are only games but do not forego all proper precaution. Before playing, ensure that every player is comfortable with themes of gloom, terror, loss, illness, doom, and superstition. 

Players can use DIRGE as a toolkit to expand five key mechanisms of DURF into a lightweight yet robust engine for gothic horror on their tabletop.
